As part of its year-long 150th anniversary celebration, and in keeping with its tradition of giving back to the communities it serves, this spring Westport-based Gault Energy & Stone launched an "Acts of Community" program to honor the many individuals and groups that have become the backbone of our Fairfield County communities. With the help of Wilton resident and Gault Energy Sales Manager, Chris Wood (right) and his family, the company celebrated Independence Day in Wilton by treating 150 children at Wilton's fireworks display to glow in the dark patriotic bracelets, an Act of Community that is especially meaningful to the company whose founder immigrated to America for religious freedom and an honest days pay for an honest days work.
